Martinelli’s Rebrand
Problem: Refresh the visual identity of Martinelli’s sparkling cider—a beloved legacy brand—to improve readability and visual appeal, while preserving its iconic and timeless character.
Solution: Martinelli’s bottle design hadn’t been updated since the 1990s. The redesign keeps the brand’s classic, nostalgic feel but introduces modern refinements for better legibility and aesthetic appeal. The updated typography improves readability and creates a clearer visual hierarchy, all while maintaining a timeless style. Apple tree illustrations now wrap around the bottle, reinforcing the cider’s apple origin and adding visual interest. The brand’s signature red and gold color palette was retained, while white was replaced with a warm beige to suggest a handcrafted, natural quality and a sense of heritage.
